Sights near our Tavira self-catering holiday home

Guest always say that staying at Casa Lia is a really relaxing experience. It's up to you how many of the Algarve's attractions you take advantage of. It is great to have a self-catering holiday home as your base, so that in the warmth of the Alagrve sun you can come and go at your own pace.

Tavira boasts many local Portuguese shops, plus supermarkets like Pingo Doce, Mini Preco and Lidl to name just some.

The Tavira Gran-Plaza is a brand new shopping centre with cinema, the Continente Hypermarket which is great, lots of clothes and electrical shops. There is plenty of parking and you cannot miss it! It's the perfect complement to the small typically Portuguese shops in the town itself.

Or why not travel 20 minutes east to Vila Real de Santo Antonio and pick up some great linen? The Spanish border is close by.
